Just a quick correction of incorrect information from May’s council meeting, by a fellow councillor.

It was stated that Indigenous Australians were classed under the flora & fauna act prior to 1967. This is incorrect information; they were never classed as fauna under this act. In fact, we all became Australian citizens in 1948. Before this, all Australians were classed as British subjects.
